Beginning in March 2004, we emphasize web standards to maximize accessibility across a variety of platforms and browsers, to maximize both backward- and forward-compatibility in the rapidly-changing world of the web, and to decrease costs while improving design flexibility. Many of the sites below were designed before March 2004, and do not adhere to web standards.
Kaspareks Art Rubber Stamps and Collage Elements
Client Brooks Mencher drew the original design for this site in Photoshop, and I adapted his design to build the site in winter 2003. I continue to update and maintain the site.
"Josh Morsell built our Web site from the ground up, taking our outline and adding his expertise and innovations to improve the design and to make the site work at both the practical and aesthetic levels. He loves a challenge, is a pleasure to work with, and we have relied on him thoroughly."

New Games
I redesigned this site in the summer of 2003. Client Dale N. Le Fevre provided me with the text and graphics.
"I really like the way Josh listens to what I want and then makes something even better. He is always willing to rework things so that I am completely happy, but he usually gets what I want in the first place."

Costa Rica Soft Landing
I have built this site in installments (according to client Cesar Leal's schedule) since spring of 2003. In consultation with Cesar, I have written the text, selected the graphics and composed the design. More to come in future months.
Headlands Inn
I redesigned this site shortly before the inn changed ownership, and the new owners brought redesigned it once again with a different designer. The site now online is not therefore mine, but this link goes to the version I designed.
Marsha Sinetar's Books & Tapes Page
I designed the Books & Tapes page for writer Marsha Sinetar's site in the summer of 2001.
Bill Bottrell
I designed record producer Bill Bottrell's web site in 2001. Bill provided me with some graphics, and I produced some. I also did the digital photography on the site. The site has since been redesigned by another designer, but here is a link to the version I designed.
The Stokemen
Also in 2001, I designed the site for Bill Bottrell's band The Stokemen. Bill provided me with all graphics. The site has since been discontinued, but here is a link to the version I designed.
Mendocino Midwife
The first site I designed (other than an internal site for the editorial department on the Pixar film A Bug's Life) was Carla Stange's mendocinomidwife.com. Carla has since modified the site.
Firefly contributed digital photography to the Wuthering Heights Cottage site (no longer on-line) and the lsadesign.com site.
Additionally, I have provided maintenance, updates and/or other consulting for the following sites designed by others. This is not an exhaustive list of my work.
